A slightly strange puppet & human show about life in New York.

Princeton (Tenor, 20s, Puppet)

A fresh-faced kid just out of college. Struggles to find his purpose in life. Portrayed by the same actor who plays Rod.

Brian (Tenor, 30s, Human, Jewish)

An unemployed, laid-back kind of guy engaged to Christmas Eve.

Kate Monster (Mezzo, 20s, Puppet)

A kindergarten teaching assistant. Dislikes not having a boyfriend. Portrayed by the same actress playing Lucy the Slut.

Rod (Tenor, 20s, Puppet)

A Republican investment banker with a secret-- he's gay and in love with Nicky. Portrayed by the same actor playing Princeton.

Nicky (Tenor 20s-30s, Puppet)

A bit of a slacker; Rod's straight roommate. Portrayed by the same actor playing Trekkie Monster and Bad Idea Bear #1.

Christmas Eve (Mezzo/Soprano, 30s, Human, Japanese)

A therapist who moved to America from Japan. Engaged to Brian. Speaks with a thick accent.

Gary Coleman (Alto/Mezzo, 30s, Human, African-American)

Yes, *that* Gary Coleman. Superintendent. Played by a woman.

The Bad Idea Bears (1 guy, 1 girl)

Snuggly, cute teddy-bear types. Act as something like Princeton's conscience and tell him to do "fun stuff" like buy beer and commit suicide. The male bear is played by the same actor playing Nicky and Trekkie Monster. The girl bear is played by the same actress playing Mrs. Thistletwat.

Trekkie Monster (Tenor, 20s-30s, Puppet)

A reclusive creature obsessed with looking up porn on the internet. Portrayed by the same actor playing Nicky and Bad Idea Bear #1.

Lucy the Slut (Alto/Mezzo, 20s, Puppet)

A vixenish vamp with a dangerous edge. Portrayed by the same actress playing Kate Monster.

Mrs. Thistletwat (Mezzo, Puppet)

Kate's ancient boss. Portrayed by the same actress playing Bad Idea Bear #2.
