Monty Python's Holy Grail Screenplay

Telling the legendary tale of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table, and their quest for the Holy Grail, Monty Python's Spamalot features a chorus line of dancing divas and knights, flatulent Frenchmen, killer rabbits, and one legless knight who create unforgettable musical production numbers.

One performer may play several characters.

King Arthur (Baritone, 40s-50s)
King of the British.
Patsy (Baritone, 20s-40s)
Arthur's "horse" and servant. The actor who plays this role also plays The Mayor of Finland and Guard 2.
Sir Robin (Baritone, 30s-40s)
The not-quite-so brave as Sir Lancelot, who slew the vicious chicken of Bristol and personally wet himself at the battle of Baden Hill. Easily frightened and likes theatre. The actor who plays this role also plays Guard 1 and Brother Maynard.
Sir Lancelot (Baritone, 30s-40s)
The homicidally brave. Closeted homosexual. The actor who plays this roles also plays the French Taunter, Knight of Ni, and Tim the Enchanter
Sir Dennis Galahad (Tenor with falsetto, 20s-30s)
The dashingly handsome. Formerly worked on a mud farm. The actor who plays this role also plays The Black Knight and Prince Herbert's father.
Sir Bedevere (Baritone, 30s-40s)
The strangely flatulent scientist who first proved coconuts migrate. The actor who plays this role also plays Dennis's Mother and Concorde
The Lady of the Lake (Alto with large range, 20s-40s)
The diva. Sings anything from opera, pop, to scatting. Gets angry easily.
Prince Herbert (Tenor, 20s-30s)
A fruity little boy forced into marriage with a girl he has no interest in. Falls in love with Sir Lancelot. The actor who plays this role also plays the Historian, Not Dead Fred, a French Guard, and a Minstrel
